This is Toowoomba near Brisbane on the East Coast of Australia.

We are approaching that time of year here in the desert Southwest when we have flash floods. Most of our roads do not have bridges across many of the desert rivers because they are dry 99% of the time but for some reason some naive individuals think they can drive through the roads when they are flooded. I present to you: Cars vs. Flood. Hint: The cars don’t win.
